This newly built Melia Tortuga Beach Resort and Spa is a 5 star all inclusive resort located on the quiet sands of Ponta Preta beach, just up the coast from Santa Maria. This hotel is available from Summer 2013.
Swimming Pools
The Melia Tortuga Beach Resort and Spa has two free form swimming pools. One is reserved as the main pool for everyday swimming and the other is used for activities such as Scuba diving lessons. Sunbeds, parasols and towels are provided free of chage. There is also a swim-up and beach bar.
Restaurants
Restaurants include the main buffet restaurant Spices. There is also a beach bar with Al Fesco food and an Italian restaurant.
Activities
There are plenty of activities on offer including Scuba diving lessons, dance lessons, Aerobics and Creole lessons.
Children
Children can enjoy two dedicated swimming pools; their own playroom; disco and children’s club.
Rooms
All rooms have air conditioning, TV fridge and other facilities. Family rooms are also available.
