This 5-star all-inclusive Hotel Riu Karamboa resort is surrounded by beautiful sand dunes and a white sandy beach. Just 15 minutes from the airport you can start your holiday almost the moment you step off the plane. The resort has recently been updated to an adult-only resort (although they do share the splash pool with the neighbouring family-friendly hotel).
Swimming Pools
The Hotel Riu Karamboa Cape Verde has a huge swimming pool with an adjoining whirlpool. There is also a children’s pool which is heated in winter. The main pool also has a swim-up bar.
Restaurants
There is one main restaurant with additional dining options for Cape Verdean, Asian and African food. Themed buffets are stages twice weekly. Las Dunas also serves African food by the pool.
Activities
There is a host of activities on offer including Scuba diving, Kayaking, Airgun shooting, and a dedicated activities and entertainment program.
Children
The children have their own pool and whirlpool bath and a dedicated children’s entertainment program. They also have a playground.
Adults
For adults, there is the spa, swim-up pool bar, massages, Scuba diving courses, and watersports.
Rooms
All standard rooms are air-conditioned with satellite TV, a mini-fridge, and a balcony or terrace. Standard family rooms sleep 2 adults and 2 children. Room upgrades are also available.
