Located on the western side of Santa Maria, the ClubHotel Riu Funana is on a beautiful white sandy beach, complete with 4 star all inclusive facilities.
Swimming pools
The hotel has two swimming pools; one lagoon style and one heated in winter. There is an adjoining whirlpool.
Restaurants
There is a choice of three restaurants to choose from. The main restaurant is the Ponta Preta and there are two additional themed restaurants. Guests staying at the Riu Funana also have use of the restaurants at the sister hotel ClubHotel Riu Garopa.
Activities,
As with any 4 star all inclusive resort there are plenty of activities on offer. Watersports are a popular choice with Kayaking, body boards and snorkeling among the many other activities on offer.
Children
Children’s facilities include their own swimming pool, children’s club and playground.
Adults
There are plenty of opportunities for adults to relax as well. As well as the swimming pools there is also a sauna, whirlpool and spa.
Rooms
All rooms are air conditioned and have TV’s, hair dryers, phone and other facilities. Rooms can accommodate up to 3 people. Inter-connecting rooms are also available as well as larger family rooms that can accommodate 2 adults and 2 children.
